'N' Gusher, a white-knuckle water coaster thrill ride -- There is a 48 inch height requirement! Cast Previews March 9th and 12th **** From the Cast Member Preview on March 9th Typhoon Lagoon is scheduled to open on Sunday, 3/13, with a new attraction: Crush n Gusher. This area used to be part of a fruit packing plant. More specifically, this is where they washed the fruit before packing. There are three slides: Pineapple Plunger, Coconut Crusher, and Banana Blaster. At the top of the structure is a loading platform. The Banana Blaster begins on one side, all by itself. The Coconut Crusher and Pineapple Plunger are side by side. The Pineapple Plunger was not operating.
This is a tube ride. One or two people get into a tube and get in position on a conveyor belt at the top of the slide. When it is clear, a ride operator pushes a button, and the conveyor belt slowly moves the tube forward over rollers onto the slide. And away you go!
Crush
n Gusher is located to the right as you enter Typhoon Lagoon,
behind the dressing rooms.
