Lend Us a Hand!

The one good thing about the reduced park hours was that we didn't have to be at Animal Kingdom at 8:00am this year for the 2nd Annual Kilimanjaro Safari Meet. Even still, over 30 folks came out for a ride through the African Savannah (not everyone was there in time for the photo).

There were 2 very special visitors that came to RADP-6 all the way from Japan! Meet Masayo Kano and Noriko Iwakiri. We exchanged gifts - I gave them a couple of items from Company D Cast Member store and they gave me 2 adorable plushes - Kimono Mickey and Friendship Pooh. Several of us had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast with Masayo and Noriko the next morning and we learned all about Tokyo Japan and Tokyo Disney Sea. It was amazing to see how the language of "Mickey Mouse" can so easily be translated.

Masayo writes: "Hello, again. I and Noriko came back home yesterday in safe and sound. This time we had so much fun while we're in Florida WDW. Especially meeting you was one of the most exciting thing we did this time. Thanks for inviting us to the breakfast at Riverside foodcourt on 1st Dec, Sat and RADP big meet in front of the Internatioal gateway. Although it was our 1st time to attend RADP but it was fun for us. It was so nice to meeting you and your friends who love Disney."

After the meet, some of us went to eat at Donald's Breakfastosaurus. Here's Barb and Rob with Donald!

From here we went to check out the new Dino-rama in DinoLand USA. TriceraTop Spin is now open and of course, we had to take a ride!

As we headed to Camp Minnie-Mickey to see Festival of the Lion King, I met Steve and Evie and enjoyed the show with them!

Later that evening, Tracy Cherry hosted a meet at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! It was lots of fun meeting everyone!
