Fresh A-Peel

AllEars® Reader Ashley Livingston visited the new Pollo Campero restaurant (on the site of the former McDonald's) at Downtown Disney Marketplace on November 14. At opening, the Pollo Campero team came outside and danced to the "The Chicken Dance." The restaurant is also home to Fresh A-Peel, a made-to-order specialty eatery, and babycakes bakery items. Says Ashley: "There is a lovely patio/bar outside the restaurant (facing T-REX). It looks like Pollo Campero is a good fit for Downtown Disney."
Pollo Campero is an international Latin chicken quick-service restaurant, and Fresh A-Peel features made-to-order selections. At Pollo Campero, you can savor combinations of freshly prepared Latin chicken, flavorful side dishes such as sweet plantains, and Latin drinks including horchata and tamarindo. Inspired by Disney's commitment to offer its guests great-tasting, healthful options, award-winning restaurateur Larry Levy and Pollo Campero teamed up to create Fresh A-Peel. Operating in the same location as Pollo Campero, Fresh A-Peel features a nutritious array of hot-off-the-grill items and chef-prepared salads and wraps, as well as gluten-free cupcakes and bakery treats. These eateries are open daily for breakfast, 8-11 a.m., and for lunch and dinner, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
