BOARDWALK ENTERTAINMENT

Disney's BoardWalk is home to a wide range of activities that differs from day to day. Seasonally, you will find midway games, jugglers, entertainers, hair wraps, food vendors, magic shows. Surrey bike-riding along the Boardwalk is a popular past time. At night, the night clubs and restaurants spring to life. Atlantic Dance SignAtlantic Dance is open five nights a week. Tuesday through Saturday there's a DJ Dance Party with open requests. Closed Sunday and Monday. This venue is often used for special private events, but is usually open 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Call 407-939-2444 for more information. There's NO cover charge and you must be 21 to enter. 407-939-2444.

BoardWalk Fortune TellerBoardwalk Buskers are an assortment of live entertainers who perform 6:30 – 10:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturdays outdoors on the BoardWalk. ESPN Club features 100 screens — there are even TVs in the bathrooms! — with all of the latest sporting events. There are regularly scheduled Trivia Nights and Sports Talk Live! shows, with live ESPN sports hosts bringing celebrity interviews, game analysis and sports trivia contests. They also feature NFL Playoff games, up to the Super Bowl. On the menu, you'll find the usual suspects: sandwiches, burgers and fries, plus, a variety of salads. Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf — Fantasia Gardens is 18 holes of whimsical miniature golf for the whole family, with a dancing hippo and xylophone stairs. Or, if you're looking for a more challenging experience, there's Disney's Fairways — 18 holes that will test your skill a bit more with hazards, traps and roughs. The complex is open 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. (may vary according to season). Discount of 15% off for Annual Passholder and up to three guests at Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course.

Jellyrolls — A sing-along bar, with dueling piano players who take requests. Weekends can be SRO, so try to get there no later than 9! Jellyrolls is open from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. nightly. There's a $12 cover charge, but no drink minimum. Must be 21.

Midway Games — located along the main BoardWalk. Games of chance, with stuffed animals and prizes.

Surrey Bike Rental — One of the favorite activities for families and groups is renting these pretty, fringed surrey bikes on the BoardWalk. You can pedal your way around Crescent Lake, over to the Yacht and Beach Club, or the Swan/Dolphin. Rentals are available on the Boardwalk itself from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., weather permitting. Current pricing as of April 2016 is $20 per half-hour for a single-bench bike, $22 per half-hour for a double-bench bike.

WATER ACTIVITIES

Bayside Marina — located just outside Disney's Yacht Club Resort, the marina is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. This is the place to arrange IllumiNations cruises, other specialty cruises, or fishing excursions. You can also rent pontoon boats and other water craft. Disney Vacation Club memebers receive 10 percent discount, excluding fishing excursions and specialty cruises. Annual Passholders receive discounts off the regular price of boat rentals, subject to availability; certain restrictions apply. (Not valid for specialty cruises.)

Albatross Treasure Cruise for ages 4-12 — Children will wear bandannas as they follow clues and sail to many exotic "ports of call" around Crescent Lake and Epcot looking for treasure. During the voyage, children will hear a reading of "The Legend of the Albatross." At the final port of call, children will have lunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwich, cookie, and juice box, and will split up the "buried treasure." Held Wednesdays 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Children must be potty trained — no pull-ups. Price is $39 per child. Reservations are recommended. Call 407-WDW-DINE.

Bicycle — $9 per 60 minutes; $18 per day.

Boston Whaler –– 17', accommodates up to 6 adults. $45/half-hour. Must be at least 18 to operate.

Pontoon Boats — 21' motorized, canopied platforms on pontoons. Accommodate up to 10 adults. $45 per 1/2 hour.

Sea Raycers — small craft that can speed up to 22 mph. Minimum age is 12, height requirement is 5 feet. Combined maximum weight limit for all passengers is 320 pounds. All drivers under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign a release. Drivers 18 years of age must provide ID with birth date. $32 per 1/2 hour; $40 per 45 minutes; $45 per 60 minutes.

Specialty Cruise (food and beverage packages available) — 10 guests maximum, including driver. Starting at $349. Call 407-WDW-PLAY for reservatins.
