FIRST LOOK at Disney's Brand New 'Tangled' Ride

Disney dropped concept art for a NEW ride based on a modern classic.

In April of 2024, Disney has announced massive changes to the much-maligned Walt Disney Studios Park at the Disneyland Paris Resort. The massive renovation — which includes a name change to Disney Adventure World — is meant to unveil a “fresh creative vision that has completely redefined our second gate,” according to Disneyland Paris president Natacha Rafalski. Among the litany of new lands, rides, and experiences being added to the renamed park will be a new ride based on Tangled.

According to Disney, the new attraction – Raiponce Tangled Spin (Raiponce is Rapunzel in French) – will be located on the park’s new Adventure Way promenade. The new family attraction will allow guests to take a “spin through the iconic floating lanterns scene” from the film. In addition to the description, the company also released a lush piece of concept art for the ride.

Judging by the concept art, which to be fair is an inexact science, it seems that Raiponce Tangled Spin will be similar to other Disney spinner rides around the world.

The new Tangled attraction will be joining a lineup of new experiences including a new Frozen land, and a fully constructed man-made lake as the Walt Disney Studios Paris Park transforms into Adventure World. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disneyland Paris updates.
