If you haven’t already heard by now, 2023 marks a whole century of magic with the Walt Disney Company.

Both Disneyland and Disney World have been celebrating hard this year with fun merchandise, special character costumes, and even shows. However…the 100th Anniversary Celebration is set to end soon. What then? What will Disney’s focus be? Well, we have a few ideas!

Well, Disney announced in September that the company plans to DOUBLE the amount they previously invested in the park and that they were making way for a $60 million park expansion across Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products (DPEP).

We have a feeling that after the new year, when the anniversary celebration has concluded, we will be able to look forward to hearing about new plans and additions Disney has up their sleeve.

Disney World

Already, we’ve heard about some plans for Disney World at the Destination D23 event in September, like a re-theme for Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s DinoLand U.S.A., a Magic Kingdom expansion, and more.

We have a feeling that Disney could reveal more of these plans in 2024 once the focus isn’t on the platinum anniversary.

OH, and not to mention, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open in 2024! We can probably expect to hear updates regarding the ride at both Disney World and Disneyland.
