There’s been a lot of dinosaur news coming out of Universal Orlando recently.
We’re quickly approaching the grand opening of the newest thrill ride to the park — the Velocicoaster. The new ride will take you on a journey through Jurassic World as you encounter some pretty scary dinos. But, since we can’t ride it just yet, Universal is still giving us a close-up dino encounter.
The new T-Rex photo op has officially reopened in its new home next to Thunder Falls Terrace in Islands of Adventure! Construction walls had been keeping the scary dinosaur at bay, but now we know why he was so upset — there’s a truck!
The new(ish) photo-op features the menacing dino looking ready for dinner…
…above the Jurassic Park Tour Vehicle that was seen in the movies!
Up until now, the truck and the dino haven’t been together for a photo-op and could be found separately throughout the park.
We tried a few different angles and found the best one if you want to see how a T-Rex would pose for a selfie!
