Crossing over the bridge, you move from Africa to Asia's mythical Kingdom of Anandapur (place of delight) complete with crumbling ruins of an ancient village, its temples and even a maharajah's palace. Asia, Animal Kingdom's newest land, opened in 1999 and features a water raft ride, walking animal trail and bird show. The architecture is beautiful so be sure and spend time exploring your surroundings.

ATTRACTIONS


Expedition Everest - FastPass High speed roller coaster with climbs, plummets, turns and backwards movement.

Kali River Rapids - FastPass a white water raft ride which will certainly cool you off! A pretty mild raft ride, no steep drops.

Maharajah Jungle Trek- wander through the ancient ruins of India -- see tigers, bats and more.

Flights of Wonder - a show with exotic birds.

Yak & Yeti - Full service restaurant operated by the same folks who operate Rainforest Cafe. Lunch and dinner menu features Asian inspired dishes such as Dim Sum, Lo Mein, Egg Rolls and Maple Tamarind Chicken.

Anandapur Local Cafes (Yak & Yeti Counter Service) - serving typical "Chinese" entrees for adults; cheeseburger and chicken nuggest on the kids' menu.
