What's New?

Diamond Celebration - Disneyland will observe its 60th anniversary on July 17. 2015. In celebration, three new nighttime spectaculars will start on May 22.

  • Paint the Night - this new parade at Disneyland will light the night with more than 1.5 million LED lights.
  • Disneyland Forever - fireworks will explode high over Disneyland and projections on park icons like Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street, USA, and "it's a small world" will immerse guests in magical worlds.
  • World of Color - Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney - At Disneyland California Adventure, an all-new show will celebrate Walt Disney's dreams of Disneyland, his legacy and imagination.

Frozen Fun - For a limited time at Disney California Adventure, guests can experience "For the First Time in Forvever - A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration", "Olaf's Snow Fest", and the nighttime "Freeze the Night! A Family Dance Party". They can also meet Anna & Elsa in the "Royal Welcome", and give Olaf a warm hug.

Over in Disneyland, the Royal Theatre at Fantasy Faire presents a new live-action version of "Frozen" starring Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones, with appearances by Anna and Elsa.

Also at Disneyland, Elsa's ice palace has been added to the Storybook Canal Land boat ride, along with the village of Arendelle and Wandering Oaken's Trading Post.


What's Coming?

Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend - May 7-10. The race moves to Mother's Day weekend for the first time. New this year: the Pixie Dust Challenge, for those running the 10K and the half marathon on consecutive days.

The tenth Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend will take place September 3-6.
