Why Disney's Hollywood Studios Is SOLD OUT on a Random Saturday in May

Fans of Star Wars know that Hollywood Studios is the park to visit in Disney World to get their out-of-this-world fix.

Star Tours — The Adventures Continue has been in this park for some time, but Hollywood Studios truly became the Disney World home to Star Wars in 2019 with the addition of Galaxy’s Edge! And, it’s because of Star Wars that a particular day in May is sold out for Annual Passholders — here’s what you need to know.

UPDATE: As of March 21st, Park Passes have been refilled for Annual Passholders on May 4th at Hollywood Studios. This availability may change anytime.

Get ready to celebrate Star Wars Day on May 4th (as in “May the FOURTH Be With You!) This unofficial holiday has been around for a while, and we’ve seen Disney come out with special merch, eats, and more. Although it’s an unofficial holiday, that doesn’t stop folks from spending their day in Hollywood Studios.

And, as of now, park pass reservations are completely sold out for Annual Passholders in Hollywood Studios on May 4th. All other parks are still available for passholders, and it looks like the rest of the calendar is green. We’ll let you know if that changes!

And, as of April 5th, there will be NEW scenes at Star Tours in Hollywood Studios featuring Din Djarin and Grogu, Ahosoka Tano, and Cassian Andor!
