You know when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed and then you’re just in a bad mood all day? Well, the feeling isn’t exclusive to humans apparently.
It’s no secret that rides break down all of the time in Disney World (some more than others) and recently one ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios had one of those mornings.
Mornings are one of the worst times for a ride to experience down time because some people plan to rope drop certain attractions. For example, if you planned to rope drop Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway on Saturday, August 12th, your plans had to change.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is one of the newest attractions to the park and uses trackless ride technology like Rise of the Resistance which could be a cause for why it goes down so much. On August 12th, the ride was closed from park opening to 12PM. Yikes!
After that, the ride seemed like it was all clear for the day…however, it closed one more time at 8PM.
If a ride goes down, you should continue to check the My Disney Experience app. This will have the most up-to-date information on whether the ride is still closed or not. Also, stay flexible, and remember, it’s okay if plans change!
