A word of explanation about this major undertaking. This information and the ticket scans are representative of various Walt Disney World admission media that was offered for sale to the general public over the years. It is not a complete list. It does not (yet!) include Florida resident prices, Length of Stay Passes in their many incarnations or the many specialty tickets such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party sold over the years and is likely missing a few ticket options in some of the years. It concentrates on the theme park and the minor parks admissions that were available to the public and to Magic Kingdom Club members.

The prices shown for a given year are inclusive of all price hikes that occurred during that year. The low end figure is prior to the year’s price increase and the higher figure is after the increase. In some years, Disney raised general prices in the spring and annual passes in the fall. More recently, they have been raised all over the calendar. You may find that you have some tickets from a certain year that don’t match the prices we show. That’s entirely possible as there were as many as three different price increases during some of the years. The prices shown are Disney’s published prices. The 1971 through 1988 tickets include sales tax. The 1989 tickets and onward do not include tax except where indicated.

Prices were compiled from many sources including but not limited to official WDW brochures, actual park tickets, Magic Kingdom Club mailings and the archives of the rec.arts.disney and rec.arts.disney.parks newsgroups. Many people contributed their personal property and information to this project. Their names are listed at the bottom of each decade page.

Items highlighted in yellow are ones that we know existed and are missing prices. We will gladly accept any help in ascertaining them. There may be some areas where things like Magic Kingdom Club prices or Resort Guest prices are omitted. We would be happy to add them when informed of them. Please use the AllEars®.net Feedback Form to submit your information. Choose the “Submit WDW Ticket History Info” subject and please tell us the source of your information in your submission. There may be others that we totally overlooked. Please let us know.

We would love to get scans or high quality digital photos of any old WDW tickets that we are missing. Please use the AllEars®.net Feedback Form to tell us what you have and we will email you with how to send it to us. It doesn’t matter whether the tickets are all used up or still have some valid days on them. We will obscure all identifying serial numbers on ones with unused days so no one can take a copy of the ticket to Guest Relations. Other things we would be interested in should you have them would be photos of the old ticket booths that were inside the Magic Kingdom, scans or photos of the individual “A” to “E” attraction tickets that were purchased inside the park (the single ones, not the ones from the ticket books) and any tickets that were sold to WDW resort guests.
