Nighttime spectaculars are returning soon to Disneyland Resort, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Disney announced a while back that the Main Street Electrical Parade, World of Color, and the Disneyland Forever fireworks show would all return on April 22nd, and they’re celebrating with a bunch of new snacks and merchandise. We got invited to a media event to get a sneak preview of the Main Street Electrical Parade items, and we think you NEED to see this new collection!

It’s the 50th Anniversary of MSEP (that’s what the cool kids call it 😉) and Disney is going all out for the occasion. We got to check out the new collection, and let’s just say — you might want to hide your wallets, folks.

The new line!

First of all, it wouldn’t be a new collection without a classic t-shirt! This Main Street Electrical Parade tee is bright and vibrant, really capturing the spirit of the whole collection.

Starting with a tee.

And if you’re like us, you were immediately enamored by the matching ears! They’ve got a bright yellow bow with a Mickey head in the middle, and they’re decked out in parade-inspired neons.

We love a new pair of ears!

The backside has the parade logo with “50th Anniversary” emblazoned below.

There are details on the back!

And of course, there’s a new Spirit Jersey as well! These pricey shirts are pretty popular, and we imagine that this one won’t be any different.

Gotta have a Spirit Jersey!

We also spotted the smallest item in the collection — a commemorative, limited release pin.

A new pin!

We’re of the mind that you can never have too many Disney mugs, and if you agree, then say hello to this beauty. It features some fan-favorite floats from the parade!

If you love the ears, then you may want to level up your Disney accessory game and get the coordinating Loungefly backpack. These things are great for the theme parks, and there’s even a pocket to store your ears on the front.

We all know it gets hot in California, and one of the ways to cool off this summer is with this stylish hand fan. (If you’re not looking to use it in the parks, it would be a great collectible.)

A hand fan for those hot days.

But what about the cold days? (They’re rare, but they still happen!) This Main Street Electrical Parade Hoodie is a great way to remember this momentous occasion.

A little something for the cold, too.

And finally, there’s one set of items that you can catch online THIS FRIDAY. That’s right! Check out the new Main Street Electrical Parade Wishables!

WISHABLES!

This six-plush collection will arrive on shopDisney this week, and each little plush is made to look like a different float.

Aren’t they cute?

PLUS, as a fun bonus…they GLOW in the dark!

We can’t wait to check them out!

We’ll make sure to let you know as soon as all this merchandise arrives in Disneyland Park, so stay tuned to AllEars for all the updates! And you can tune in to the video below for a special early showing of the returned Main Street Electrical Parade!

  1. Since it is the Main Street Electrical Parade’s 50th anniversary and Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, it seems like such a bizarre choice to not bring the parade back to Florida for the celebration. We so need a nighttime parade again in WDW and Disneyland already has so much nighttime stuff! Just seems strange to me. I miss this parade so much.

  2. So many wonderful memories of watching this parade throughout the years in Disney World. How I wish they would bring it back to Florida! If not, how about a similar nighttime parade?
