Disneyland Resort reopened for California guests at the end of last month, and we’ve been taking in all the rides, dining, and entertainment ever since!
And, after a full year of being closed and Avengers Campus opening soon, both parks have been busy! Recently, park pass reservations have been booking up for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, and even at only 25% capacity the lines to get into Disney (and even the parking garage) has been backing up, But, now there’s an easier option for those driving their car to Disneyland.
Disney has added the option to pre-pay for a Standard 1-Day Parking Voucher when purchasing Disneyland park tickets. The cost is $25 (which is the same as it costs at the gate) and if you’re planning to bring more than one car to the park, you can pre-purchase more than one voucher online.Â
This new option will pop up on Disneyland’s website after selecting your ticket type and date that you plan to visit. And, if you check the box to pre-pay, the cost will then be added to your park ticket at checkout and you’ll be able to bypass some of the wait time to get into the parking garage.
Just keep in mind that securing your parking voucher in advance does not guarantee that you’ll have a parking spot, according to Disney’s website.
Currently, the Disneyland parking garages open about 30 minutes prior to park hours, and the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking areas are the two available lots. We will continue to keep an eye out for more updates from Disneyland so stay tuned for the latest!
