Laura Gilbreath shares photos from
the Mickey's Halloween Treat party

The park entrance is festively decorated with pumpkins and ghosts.

This pumpkin display makes a great photo backdrop.

Entrance to the Hollywood Pictures Backlot.

Huge spiders have been busy all over the park, spinning their webs on Grizzly Peak…

…And the Orange Stinger…

…And this archway at the Hyperion Theater.

Projections of bats, ghosts, spiders, etc. flicker and whirl on the walkways.

The pirates have landed at Pirate's Wharf.

Pirate Chip parties at the Pirate dance area.

The pirate theme carries over into the pirate craft and game area.

Treat Stops, which offered candy as well as healthier alternatives like bags of baby carrots or sliced apples, raisins, or fruit leather, were all over the park.

Costumed Cast Members were enjoying themselves, too!

Party-exclusive merchandise included t-shirts…

Picture frames…

Hats and bags…

And limited edition pins.

In addition to formal character Meet and Greets, like Donald at Pirate's Wharf

And the Princesses at Paradise Pier,

There were many characters just walking around,

Or dancing in one of the party zones.

New this year is "Mickey's Trick or Treat on the Street" character cavalcade,
which starts an hour before the party ends, with
performance stops in front of Golden Screams and Candy Corn Acres.

At the perfomance stop, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy all performed Halloween-themed songs.

They were accompanied by a lot of Disney characters, as well as costumed Cast Members.
