Dates for 2016: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays April 1 - May 1

After a five-year absence, the Food and Wine Festival is returning to Disney California Adventure. On a smaller scale than in previous years, events will include celebrity chef experiences; wine, beer, and spirits seminars; culinary demonstrations and lifestyle seminars. Festival Marketplaces will be set up around the park, featuring the flavors of California food and wines. Additional festival menus will also be available at dining locations around the park.

Multiple locations around the park will host the Festival, including Stage 17 and the Backlot Stage in Hollywood Land, and the Sonoma Terrace. The Festival Marketplaces are set up along the parade corridor between the Carthay Circle Restaurant and the Embarcardero.

Culinary demonstrations will be free of charge, and will feature guest chefs as well as chefs from restaurants around the Disneyland Resort. Lifestyle seminars, celebrating spring in California, will include topics such as gardening, art, horticulture, and health & wellness. These are also free of charge.

Celebrity Kitchen will feature well-known chefs such as Guy Fieri, Keegan Gerhard, G. Garvin, and Andrew Sutton. These 90-minute sessions include cooking and technique demonstrations, and up to three samples to taste. Paired alcoholic beverages will be available with select dishes to those over the age of 21 (valid photo id required). Seminars will be held at Stage 17 on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. with a price of $99/person plus tax and gratuity. Check-in begins one hour in advance.

The Celebrity Kitchen VIP Experience is only available to Disneyland Annual Passholders as an add-on to the Celebrity Kitchen. It includes front-of-the-house priority seating, an autograph session with the chef, and a special gift. It is $149/person plus tax and gratuity and can only be booked by calling 714-781-DINE (714-781-3463). A valid Annual Passport will be required at check-in, and blockout dates will apply.

Beverage Seminars will be held Friday-Sunday at the Sonoma Terrace. Each 45-minute session will feature a visiting winemaker, brewer, or mixologist and includes up to three sample tastings. The price is $15/person, plus tax. All participants must be at least 21 years of age. Valid photo id is required. No one under age 21 will be admitted to the venue - kids and strollers are not permitted. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the event.

Celebrity Kitchen and Beverage Seminars may be booked on-line at disneyland.com/foodandwine. Space is limited, and advance reservations are highly recommended. Full payment is due at time of booking. Celebrity Kitchen must be canceled at least 72 hours in advance to receive a refund; Beverage Seminars must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
