Ride Restrictions
(Height and Safety)
Disneyland Resort


A number of attractions at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure have set height restrictions and may not be ridden by those who do not meet the requirements. Children under the age of 7 may not ride alone, and should be accompanied by a person age 14 or over. Many attractions also have health warnings, and advise that people with certain health conditions or sensitivities should not ride.

Be sure to read the signs and ask Cast Members about any questions or concerns.


PARK ATTRACTION RESTRICTIONS
Disneyland Astro Orbitor No height requirement, but those with a fear of heights or subject to motion sickness should take that into consideration.
Disneyland Autopia Children under 12 months may not ride. Must be at least 32" to ride and 54" to ride alone. Those between 32" and 54" must ride with a responsible person who meets the requirement. For safety and comfort, you should be in good health and free from heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

Disneyland

 Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Must be at least 40" tall to ride. For safety and comfort, you should be in good health and free from heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride. 

Disneyland

 Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage No height requirement. Those with claustrophobia may find the submarines uncomfortable.

 Gadget's Go Coaster 35" height requirement. Expectant mothers should not ride.

 The Haunted Mansion Attraction may be too dark and intense for young children.

 Indiana Jones Adventure Must be at least 46" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

Guests prone to motion sickness should not ride.

 Matterhorn Must be at least 42" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

 Pirates of the Caribbean Young children may be frightened by the special effects.

 Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin Strobe lighting is used in this attraction. The spinning may aggravate those with motion sickness.

 Snow White's Scary Adventures Attraction may be too intense for very young children.

 Space Mountain Must be at least 40" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

Must be at least 40" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.
Disneyland Star Tours Must be at least 40" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

Disney California Adventure

 California Screamin' High speed (1 loop) coaster. Must be 48" tall. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

Disney California Adventure

 It's Tough to be a Bug Special effects may be too intense for children and some adults.
Disney California Adventure Goofy's Sky School Must be at least 42" tall. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

 Grizzly River Run Must be at least 42" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

Disney California Adventure

 Jumpin' Jellyfish Must be at least 40" tall to ride.

Disney California Adventure

 Luigi's Flying Tires Must be at least 32" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

Disney California Adventure

 Mater's Junkyard Jamboree Must be at least 32" tall to ride. Those subject to motion sickness should take that into consideration.
Disney California Adventure Mickey's Fun Wheel No height requirement, but those with a fear of heights or subject to motion sickness should take that into consideration.

Disney California Adventure

 Radiator Springs Racers Must be at least 40" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.
Disney California Adventure Redwood Creek Challenge Trail Some challenges have height and age requirements.

 Silly Symphony Swings Must be at least 40" tall. Guests 40" to 48" may only ride in a tandem swing accompanied by someone 14 years of age or older. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.
Disney California Adventure Soarin' Over California Must be at least 40" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.
Disney California Adventure Tower of Terror Must be at least 40" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.
Disney California Adventure Tuck 'n' Roll's Drive 'em Buggies Must be at least 36" tall to ride. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.
