ALL Individual Lightning Lanes Sold Out in MINUTES at Disney World Today

It is a BUSY day at Disney World!

Magic Kingdom

There are SO many ways to figure out if it is a busy day BEFORE you arrive to the parks– like taking a look at the park pass reservation calendar, long lines heading into security, and even how packed the parking lot can get. However, there is one MAJOR way to figure out how busy the Disney Parks are  — and it is how FAST Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes sell out.

We have seen a TON of Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes sell out QUICK this morning.

Genie+ Lightning Lane

This time of year is typically busy due to Spring Break happening throughout different schools across the country. We’re used to seeing these crowd levels, but seeing things sell out so quickly always feels shocking no matter how often it happens.

Genie+ has also been priced at an all-time high recently, being as expensive as $39 per person, and only seeing prices as low as $29 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

What shocked us the most was how QUICKLY all of the Individual Lightning Lanes sold out at every single Disney World park. TRON Lightcycle Run, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Avatar: Flight of Passage all sold out within minutes of park opening. We briefly saw an ILL pop up for TRON for 9:55 PM, however that quickly went away — along with our hopes to ride it today.

Slinky Dog Dash

When it comes to our normal Lightning Lane selections, a ton of popular ones were also sold out within minutes. So, if you’re planning on riding Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, or Slinky Dog Dash — make sure you keep an eye on standby times so you can hop in line.

TRON Virtual Queue

We know that high crowd levels can be frustrating, but even with these heavy crowds, it is still possible to have a GREAT vacation. There are a ton of different methods you can try to help optimize your day, like utilizing Genie+ (remember the 120-minute rule!), rope dropping, trying to snag some Virtual Queues, and taking some time to breathe when you’re feeling frustrated.

We’re keeping an eye on crowd levels throughout the parks, so stay tuned with us at AllEars for the latest on crowd levels, ride closures, and more!
