4 Disney World Transportation CHEATS We Use All the Time

Unless you’ve been there before, it’s hard to truly imagine just how massive the Walt Disney World property is.

Disney World

With four theme parks, two water parks, a shopping and dining district, and countless hotels, getting from Point A to Point B isn’t always an easy task. Whether it’s your first or fiftieth time in Disney World, we’re sharing the transportation cheats we use ALL the time!

Disney Vacation Planner

When it comes to getting around Disney World, you’ve got plenty of options! There’s the monorail, Skyliner, boats, and buses, and each comes with its own pros and cons. We go to Disney World every day and these are the transportation cheats we use all the time.

Saratoga Strolls

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is an excellent option if you’re looking for a quiet resort that is far enough from the hustle and bustle while still staying close to the action — especially Disney Springs.

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort

If you’re planning on spending any time at Disney Springs, consider staying at Saratoga for the simple fact that you can walk to and from the two destinations! It’s about a 10-minute walk from the last Saratoga Springs bus stop to the Marketplace entrance of Disney Springs. Keep in mind that it could be longer depending on what building you’re in at the hotel.

EPCOT Escapes

Staying in an EPCOT area resort like the BoardWalk, Yacht and Beach Club, and even the Swan and Dolphin hotels can be a major transportation hack depending on what your plans are for your trip! If you’re heading to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, this is a great option.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Not only can you literally walk from these hotels to each park, but you also have the option of taking the Skyliner or even a bus!

Trekking to the TTC

It may take you longer to walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center from Magic Kingdom at the end of an already long day, but we guarantee it will be far less crowded than trying to pack into the monorail like sardines or wait in the hordes of ferry boat passengers.

Crowds

You’ll walk from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian, then to the Polynesian, and finally to the TTC. It may take a bit more effort at the end of a long day, but you won’t have to contend with thousands of other people trying to do the same thing you are!

Friendship Ferries

Imagine: you’re in the Canada Pavilion but suddenly have a craving for pizza and need to get to the Italy Pavilion immediately or you’ll riot. But, you’re just too tired to walk alllllll the way around the World Showcase. So, you don’t — because you take a Friendship Boat instead!

Hop on

The World Showcase Friendship boats are the unsung heroes of EPCOT and take folks from one end of the Lagoon to the other.
