Cringey Things I Keep Seeing in Disney World

Sometimes at Disney World, we see things that just don’t make sense.

Whether you’re taking a ride on the Monorail, waiting in line for a ride, or grabbing a bite to eat next to a particularly rowdy group at Disney World, there are some things that you just wish you could un-see. There are some cringey things that we see all the time, and that’s what we’re here to talk about.

Without further ado, here are three cringey things we keep seeing in Disney World.

Hygiene Hiccups

Alright, let’s talk about the bathroom situation. “What bathroom situation?” I hear you asking. It’s the one where some folks seem to forget that handwashing is a thing.

Seriously though, it’s 2024. How is it that in this day and age, we’ve forgotten to scrub up after using the facilities? And don’t even get me started on the kiddos who think railings are lollipops! Maybe we could spread a little less germs? Sound like a plan?

Soggy Sneakers Syndrome

Say you’re strolling through Fantasyland when out of nowhere, Florida does what it often does — give you a random rainstorm. Now your sneakers are swimming pools for your toes.

Been there, done that. It’s not fun to spend a day squishing around in damp shoes. Pro tip: Pack a spare pair of comfy shoes in your backpack! This way, you can swap out your soggy sneakers and keep your feet feeling happy all day long.

Water Woes

We all know the struggle of staying hydrated at the parks, but paying an arm and a leg for a single bottle of water? I mean, you’re better off spending that money on a Dole Whip!

Here’s what you’re going to want to do: stock up beforehand, refill a reusable water bottle at the many fountains throughout the parks, or even have a case of bottled water delivered directly to your resort. That way you’ll stay hydrated and save some cash!
