The BEST EPCOT Flower & Garden Snacks That Are Included in the Disney World Dining Plan

We didn’t think it could be done, but there were several things at this year’s EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival that blew us away.

It won’t last long!

You may have followed along with us as we set out to try every single booth on the festival’s opening day, and we brought you the good, the bad, and everything in between. So if you were watching closely to maximize your best eats around the festival this year with the Disney Dining Plan, don’t worry — we’ve taken the guesswork out for you!

We set out on a mission every year to track down the absolute BEST festival offerings of each changing season, and we have to admit this year’s EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival served!

EPCOT

Now that the Disney Dining Plan has returned, you’re probably ready to put those snack credits to good use, and we’re showing you the BEST places to use them and not walk away disappointed.

ORANGE SESAME TEMPURA SHRIMP — THE CITRUS BLOSSOM

Orange Sesame Tempura Shrimp

This shrimp dish is a returning favorite of ours that you can pick up at The Citrus Blossom booth. The shrimp are lightly fried and served in an orange-chile sauce. What’s great about this one is that we loved the complex combination of flavors that brought a touch of citrus and spice to this savory dish.

CROISSANT AU FROMAGE DE CHÈVRE, HERBES ET AIL RÔTIE — FLEUR DE LYS

Croissant

This savory snack also tops our list because it’s a garlicky, goat cheese-stuffed croissant (what’s not to love, right)? The croissant on this one is consistently flaky, and the combination of herbs mixed in with the goat cheese didn’t disappoint this year, making it a welcomed returning favorite!

CHICKEN & WAFFLES — THE HONEY BEE-STRO

Chicken & Waffles

This might be the most epic food combo to ever exist and that’s why it made the list, too! This dish is made of a piece of crispy chicken coupled with a honey-sweet cornbread waffle with whipped honey butter and spicy honey. If that doesn’t sound like a sweet flavor explosion in every bite, we can’t help you further.

COCONUT TRES LECHES — LA ISLA FRESCA

Coconut Tres Leches

This one has stolen our hearts again (and for good reason)! Not only is this a plant-based dessert, it’s downright delicious! It’s a yummy cake soaked in almond, coconut, and oat milk (hence the tres leches or milk) which makes it super moist. The dairy-free whipped topping is exceptionally creamy and fluffy, so don’t pass this one up — it’s a whole experience!

IMPOSSIBLE JAMAICAN BEEF PATTY — LA ISLA FRESCA

Beef Patty

Alright, time for a NEW favorite! This savory snack was a welcome change to the festival. The crust of this one is nice and flaky, and the spices aren’t overbearing.  The spicy papaya syrup on top gives it a subtle spicy kick. If you like a bit of sweetness mixed in with your spices, you gotta try this!

RAMEN CUP– HANAMI

Ramen Cup

To look at this one you may not expect much from it, so you’ll just have to trust us on it. It’s ramen noodles in a cup that are served chilled. It’s THE perfect snack for a hot sunny day. It has everything you could ask for in a savory snack — fresh vegetables, grilled chicken, and dashi broth with plenty of flavor to keep you sipping through the last drop.

SOPE DE CHILORIO — JARDIN DE FIESTAS

Sope de Chilorio

Another new item made it to our list! The Sope de Chilorio is served as Guajillo pepper-braised pork on fried corn shells, black beans, shredded cabbage, crema Mexicana, queso fresco, and chives. There’s A TON of flavor going on in this one, and it worked so well together! We loved every bite and think you will too.

SPICY CHICKEN GUMBO — MAGNOLIA TERRACE

Gumbo

I mean, they had us at Gumbo. This cajun favorite has been a hit with us year after year, and it really knows how to pack a flavor punch. We’ve got to warn you though, there’s a bit of a spicy kick to this one but the chicken and sausage are where it’s at!

VANILLA SOFT SERVE BARQS RED CREME SODA FLOAT — SWIRLED SHOWCASE

Ice Cream Float

This next treat we can’t say a SINGLE bad thing about, and we think it will be a hit for you, too! It’s a simple mix of vanilla ice cream and Barq’s sweet cream soda, but it’s so spectacular together. Sage is probably still having dreams about it.

LIQUID NITROGEN HONEY MASCARPONE CHEESECAKE — SWIRLED SHOWCASE

Liquid Nitrogen Honey Mascarpone Cheesecake

Two words for this one: The. FLAVORS! While we could go on and on about the flavor, what really sold us with this treat was the texture, surprisingly! It was super interesting (in the best way) because the liquid nitrogen almost gives it a crystallized crunch followed by a soft yummy cheesecake, and then more crunchiness. Have we made your taste buds curious yet?

STRAWBERRY RHUBARB UPSIDE-DOWN CAKE — FARMER’S FEAST

Strawberry Rhubarb Upside Down Cake

This next item will disappear from the menu soon, so if it sounds yummy to you, you’ll need to grab it before March 30th! It’s like happiness in a bite. This snack is exactly what it sounds like and tastes even better. Not too sweet but just sweet enough — it’s just right. The cake is soft and moist, and we really wish it wasn’t just a limited-time offering for the festival!

FRIED CINNAMON ROLL BITES — BRUNCHCOT

Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with Cream Cheese Frosting and Candied Bacon

Say no more than sweet pastries and cream cheese frosting! These puffy pastry beauties are made of fried cinnamon roll bites with cream cheese frosting AND candied bacon (yum!). Each bite will leave you craving the next!

Quincy loved the Fleur de Lys booth!

We’ve tried every single booth at this year’s EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, and these were the absolute BEST that you could pick up using a Disney Dining Plan credit.

  1. Just seems I’m in a small minority of can’t eat spicy…and so much seems to have a spicy component…meaning can’t buy and risk stomach on fire…foods in the garbage..waste of money or dining credits
