It looks like Disney may be introducing the latest advancement in theme park technology at the Avengers Campus, bringing our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man to life like never before. That’s because when you look up at the park — he could actually be swinging overhead!

So, how does this work exactly? The answer lies in Stuntronics, which are acrobatic audio-animatronics capable of performing “superhuman feats” that would be too dangerous for a human performer. In other words, Disney has the ability to literally fling a robotic Spider-Man into the air and program it so it sticks the landing.

YEET!

While Disney has not confirmed they will be specifically be using a Spider-Man Stuntronic, they did post a cryptic video that looks very similar to the motions we’ve seen from past Stuntronic tests. Check out the video for yourself below!

While specifics have not be confirmed, Disney Parks Blog teased that guests to Disney California Adventure in the near future “may be able to catch a glimpse of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man himself swinging above the rooftops of Avengers Campus”. We can’t wait see what Disney Imagineering has cooked up for us when Avengers Campus opens this summer!
