NEWS: New Construction Announced For Disney's All-Star Movies Resort

A lot of construction is happening all over Disney World right now: three parks are getting new lands and expansions, while new shops and experiences are coming to Disney Springs.

Disney World hotels are also getting some refurbishment, too, and now Disney has announced another construction project that will be happening soon at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort: Donald’s Double Feature will be undergoing refurbishment soon.

Donald’s Double Feature, a store at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, is currently under refurbishment through late August 2026. However, the good news is that during this time, the store is expected to remain open, so you can still do your souvenir shopping.

However, during that time, you may see signs of construction in that part of the hotel and hear some construction noise. This will be going on until the project is complete. We imagine you might notice parts of the store blocked off, too, with things moved around as construction progresses, so keep an eye out for that.

This isn’t the only construction work happening at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, though. The rooms at the hotel are also currently undergoing refurbishment with work expected to be completed in January 2027. That means you might also see and hear construction during that time, at least during daytime hours. Alternate travel routes may also be in place during that time.
