Disney Executive Josh D'Amaro to Speak at Upcoming Event

Ever since Bob Iger returned to take over the position of Disney CEO, Disney executives have been in the news.

We learned more about why Bob Chapek was fired and which executives also left the company at this time. Now, though, we’ve got some news about Chairperson of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Josh D’Amaro.

SXSW (also known as South by Southwest) is holding a conference in Austin, Texas from March 10th-19th, 2023. The conference will focus on topics like technology, film, culture, and music with several keynote and featured speakers.

It was recently announced that Josh D’Amaro is a featured speaker at the event. He will be hosting a featured session called “Creating Happiness: The Art & Science of Disney Parks Storytelling.” The exact date for this session is to be announced, but Disney will be represented by D’Amaro at the conference!

The Disney executive is joined by other celebrity speakers including Nick Jonas, Eric André, Eva Longoria, and more. Former CEO Bob Chapek and President of Marvel Kevin Fiege were set to attend the 2020 SXSW event, but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
