There are plenty of fine dining options around Disney World.
We love places like California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort. However, there is one fine dining experience that people keep paying hundreds of dollars to eat at, and it is located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
The Grand Floridian has so many places to dine, like Citricos or the recently re-opened 1900 Park Faire, but there is one restaurant in particular that will cost you, well, MORE than a pretty penny. We are talking about Victoria & Albert’s.
This classy dining location is on the second floor of the Grand Floridian’s main building. It is so fancy that it has its own dress code! Here, you can choose between two tasting menus that both feature multi-course meals. Although this is subject to change, the prix-fixe menu begins at $295.00 per Guest. There is also an optional wine pairing that starts at $155.00 per person. And there’s a zero-proof pairing that starts at $115.00 per person.
Quincy and Breedlove had the opportunity to dine here not too long ago, and you can watch their video right here.
So since this is SO expensive, how do you justify spending a big chunk of your Disney World budget to eat there? We asked Quincy and Breelove if they would recommend it, and why!
They said that although it is hard to believe since it is so expensive, it was truly worth the money, and the experience was unbelievable. They also noted that the work that was put into the food and the quality and flavor of the food was perfect.
The service was unbelievable, and they both agreed that if you have the money to dine here, you have to try it since it feels like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. They also agreed that this dining experience is something that they would save up to do again.
On the other hand, they do realize that this experience is not for everyone. If you do not care for fine dining and would rather put your money toward other experiences on your vacation, then absolutely skip it.
While the food at Victoria & Albert’s is amazing, there are also amazing quick service and other table service options at Disney World. Although we have not dined somewhere that compares, if fine dining is not your thing, it is totally okay to miss this on your next trip.
As for our overall thoughts, Quincy said that this is one of the best meals that she has ever had. The dining experience you have here is unlike anything else at Disney World. Although it is expensive, you do get your money’s worth.
If dining is your thing, we definitely recommend this experience!
There is an old quote that may be applicable to eating at this restaurant, “A fool and his money are soon parted.”
We’ve been fortunate enough to eat at Victoria and Albert’s twice. It is truly an experience you’ll never forget. The food, the service, the attention to detail are all amazing. I can’t wait to go again.
