Introduction

Toon Lagoon takes you and your family into the Sunday Funnies. This wild and wacky island is full of characters we all know and love, such as Broomhilda, Cathy, Beetle Bailey, Popeye and many, many more. Great photo opportunities abound in this crazy, fun and colorful island. Watch out for the water -- they don't call it Toon "Lagoon" for nothing.  

Attractions and Entertainment

Dudley Do-right's Ripsaw Falls -- Ride along as our favorite Mountie Dudley sets out  in this classic story to save his true love Nell from the Dastardly Snidely Whiplash. Only problem is Dudley doesn't save you from going over the falls in your log. One of the steepest and fastest drops, which ends with you going 15 feet under the water! Oh, if you are not wet enough, guests have a chance to blast you with water after the drop! Universal Express Pass available.

Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges -- Don't even think about staying dry as Popeye tries to save Olive Oyl from the clutches of Bluto on this cartoon themed white-water rapids ride. Universal Express Pass available.

Me Ship, The Olive -- An interactive three-level play ship for the younger set. Complete with slides, free water cannons and working piano. This ship provides a great view of the park. Stairs not your thing? The center of the ship has an elevator. From the ship, you will see a mostly overlooked trail along the lake with benches for anyone who wants to take a little rest, take a break from the crowds or just dry out.

Mat Hoffman's Crazy Freakin's Stunt Show -- Mat Hoffman, 10-time World Champion Vert Ryder, presents an exciting, one of a kind stunt show of champion bikers and skateboarders. Enjoy a great Character Meet and Greet prior to entering the show. Beetle Bailey, Popeye, Olive Oyl, Bluto, Woody Woodpecker and more. Characters and times can vary. Check your park guide for times of the character meet and greets.

XTRA Fun & Games -- Located just outside of the Mat Hoffman show. Test your skill and strength with rope climbing, fishing and a weight guessing game for prizes.

Places to Eat

Comic Strip Cafe - Separate counters and registers for Asian Cuisine, Pizza and Pasta, Mexican and Fish & Chicken.

Cathy's Ice Cream - Located inside the Comic Strip Cafe with window service available outside as well. 

Wimpy's - What else would you find at a place called Wimpy's. Hamburgers, of course.

Blondie's: Home of the Dagwood - Stack Sandwiches including a veggie Dagwood, soups and salads. This restaurant has been closed from time to time.

Places to Shop

Betty Boop Store - Boop oop a doop......everything Betty Boop.

Gasoline Alley - Beach apparel, sun screen and towels.

Toon Extra - Lots of cartoon character apparel and souvenirs.
