Story The Musical will take over Hyperion Theatre in The characters and playful plot from the original DisneyPixar film, Toy Story, will come to life before your eyes in this dazzling, musical stage spectacular where youll be treated to a unique toys eye view of life in Andys room. The stage show will feature larger-than-life set design, new songs, vivid projected backgrounds and elaborate costumes. To make way for this exciting addition to Disneys California Adventure park, Aladdin A Musical Spectacular will close August 15, 2010. If youre visiting the Disneyland Resort this holiday season, dont miss your chance to catch this great show. Toy Story The Musical is just the latest announcement of a line-up of great attractions and experiences coming to Disneys California Adventure. The 50-minute musical will preserve the humor and heart of the original film and will explore the true meaning of friendship as Buzz Lightyear and Woody transform from jealous adversaries to best friends with an unbreakable bond.
The theater is divided into three sections: the Orchestra section on the ground floor, the Mezzanine, and the Balcony. You choose which section you want to sit in when you get in line. Sitting in the Mezzanine or Balcony will require climbing up several flights of steps, though there are elevators to the upper levels for those who really need them. And inside the theater, access to any seats in the Mezzanine or Balcony other than those in the back rows requires climbing down some rather steep steps. Once inside the theater it's not easy to switch to a different level - you'll need to see a Cast Member for assistance. No food or drink is allowed inside the theater. There are NO RESTROOMS in the theater - make sure to stop before you get in line. The closest restrooms are to the left of the theater as you approach it from Hollywood Blvd. Special seating areas are available for guests in wheelchairs/ECVs and their parties. Assistive listening is provided - receivers are available at Guest Relations.
Kids of all ages love this show! Be aware, one scene is called Sid's Nightmare and this may be scary for young children. Award Wieners offers a selection of hot dogs and sausages, snacks are available at Schmoozies and Fairfax Market. Restaurants
