READER FEEDBACK

I saw All Star Vacation Homes mentioned here and decided to check them out. First, let me say that I have only been to Disney one other time and we stayed off property. This time, we really wanted to stay at a Disney resort, having heard how great they are ('Once you stay on site, you always come back'). Sad to say, cost was a definite consideration for my family. Not to mention myself, my husband, my three daughters, and my father in law in adjoining hotel rooms for a week--talk about togetherness! So, I went to the All Star web site. The site is great--tells you everything you need to know. I was able to rent a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with a private pool and Jacuzzi for about the same price I would have paid for ONE ROOM at a Disney moderate resort. The house was gorgeous--and very close to Disney! My father in law had his own room with a queen size bed and bathroom. My two oldest daughters shared a room, and my youngest had a room to himself--both rooms had two twin beds. The master bedroom was huge--a king size bed, lots of closet space (all the bedrooms had good closets)and a large bathroom with a tub big enough for two. There was a TV in each bedroom, plus in the two living areas. There were also VCRs, a dvd player, and a Playstation. The kitchen had silverware, dishes, pots and pans, plus a coffee maker, toaster, can opener--just about everything you would find in your own home. There were plenty of towels and the laundry room even came with a small box of Tide. It was absolutely fabulous to come back from a long day at the parks to this wonderful home. It was relaxing, and everyone had their own space to rest and regroup. The whole week, I kept saying to my husband that I don't know how people can stay in a hotel room, even a Disney one, when they could have so much more room and privacy for about the same price (or much less, if you are talking deluxe resorts). I will definitely go back to Disney World. My whole family loves it there--the vacation was great! But I doubt I will be staying at a Disney resort. This is what I tell people: 'Once you've stayed in a vacation home, you'll always come back.' I highly recommend All Star for families. Check it out and see for yourself! (Kelly Taylor, 4/2004)

I wanted to let you know about the great experience we had renting a condo through All Star Vacation Homes. Because we were going to be at WDW over the New Years holiday, we decided we just couldn't justify paying the holiday rates that WDW resorts charge over the holiday season. While exploring your site, we ran across your reviews and recommendations for All Star Vacation Homes. From there we explored the All Star website and found a condo that we thought would really meet our needs. Because we were sharing the condo with another family that we were traveling with, the cost was very reasonable for the condo. The reservations agent was very helpful and the entire process was very simple and easy. When we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised.

The condo and the surrounding resort were even nicer than we had imagined they would be. The condo was large (1400 sq ft) compared to the hotel rooms we've stayed in at WDW at 314 sq ft each. It was a ground floor condo with three bedrooms and two full baths. Two of the bedrooms were master bedrooms with king size beds and walk-in closets. The third bedroom had bunk beds--twin over full. Each bedroom had a TV and VCR and the living room had a large screen TV with a DVD player. The furnishings were very nice--it was elegant and comfortable at the same time. It was wonderful having a full kitchen so that we could do breakfast at the condo each morning. At the center of the resort was a clubhouse complete with gameroom, movie theater, and sundries shop. Just outside was a large pool as well as a kiddie pool and hot tub. I would definitely recommend using All Star Vacation homes! I felt it was a very good value for the money and would not hesitate to rent a condo from them again!

We just returned from a week in Orlando where we stayed in a pool home with All Star Vacation Homes. We absolutely loved it. The home was great. It accommodated the 9 of us well and the proximity to WDW was wonderful. We're tempted to do it again, instead of staying on-property. Thank you for the helpful information from your web site where we discovered this great alternative. -- Rich and Kathy, March 2003

Recently I saw the All Star site on yours and clicked on it. The All Star addition to your website was very helpful. It was so comfortable and well managed. What a difference from being cramped in one room. I wish more people pursued that avenue. The value is great for 2 families or more and having your own pool and hot tub was a bonus. I think All Star does a great job managing and are very enthusiastic about their product. (Kathi, February 2002)

Saw the ad on WDWIG for this agency. We had a gorgeous 3-bedroom condo for 7 nights over the 4th of July for $130/night!!! It really worked out well to have 2 bathrooms and all that space. Very nice pool as well. If the construction on Rt 192 in Kissimmee is ever completed the commute to WDW wouldn't be bad either. Next trip we'll stay on-property but All Star was an excellent option.
