Debbie writes:

I am looking for scavenger or treasure hunts for my family to participate in. We have been on the official Disney Family Magic Tour, which was so fun. Now the kids (Mom and Dad, too) would love to do more. Can you help?

Hi Debbie!

There are a couple of great books that can help you out with your treasure hunting. One is "Passporter's Treasure Hunts at Walt Disney World" by Jennifer and Jeff Carter (List $11.95 U.S.) and the other is "Hidden Mickeys, Third Addition: A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best Kept Secrets" by AllEars.net's own Steven M. Barrett. (List $11.95. U.S.) Both of these books can be purchased through AllEars.net's Amazon Store.

Happy hunting!

I am planning on attending Cinderella's Royal Table with family, but not planning on going to the park. Is a park pass required to gain entrance?

Hi Valorie!

Anyone dining at a restaurant inside a theme park must have valid admission unless it is otherwise included as part of a special event. Since Cinderella's Royal Table is located inside the Magic Kingdom Park, valid park admission is required and you will need to purchase a ticket. A one-day one-park ticket will cost you approximately $80.

For more information about WDW park tickets and prices, please see AllEars.net's Ticket Price Comparison pages.

Patrick writes:

We are traveling to WDW in October and have reservations at the "Garden Grill" specifically because of the characters. I have heard a worrying rumor that the character meal is to end. Could you confirm this, and if so what date?

Hi Patrick!

I have bad news and good news. The bad news is, it's true that after October 5, 2008 the characters will no longer be appearing at the Garden Grill during lunch. The good news is, the characters will continue to appear during dinner. You didn't say which service your Advance Dining Reservation is for, so you may or may not see the characters dependent on that. Good luck!

Jason writes:

I am going to be at the World over Christmas this year. I heard something about being able to have a special Christmas tree with Disney ornaments ordered and placed in your resort room. After the holidays, they ship the tree and decorations to your home. If this is the case, any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jason!

It is indeed the case; however, you may want to sit down before I tell you how much it will cost. This year, there are three styles available. One is themed to Mickey and is a real tree in a pot, but quite tiny. It costs $145 and cannot be shipped to your home, only to your resort. The others are artificial trees and are about 3 feet tall. One is themed to the Year of a Million Dreams and costs $365, and the other is themed to Neverland and costs $395. These prices do not include tax, delivery fees, service charges or charges for shipping the tree back to your home. To order, call Walt Disney World Florist at 407-827-3505 or order online at www.disneyflorist.com. Disney Florist started taking orders on August 1, and they do sell out, so if you want one, order it as soon as you can.

Merry shopping!

Terry writes:

I would like to know where I can find the schedule for the movies being shown at the Fort Wilderness campground in November.

Hi Terry!

The Fort Wilderness movie schedule is posted monthly on the Mouse For Less website. (www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/resorts/fwcampfiremovie.shtml)

Currently, only September's schedule is available, so you'll have to check back closer to your arrival date.

Have fun on your trip to the World!

Patty writes:

Hi Anita, I have a question about "Teddi Barra" from the Country Bears. Is her voice done by Kitty Wells? Thanks.

Hi Patty!

The voice of Teddi Barra in the Country Bear Jamboree attraction is that of Patsy Stoneman Murphy. She's the daughter of country music legend and pioneer Pop Stoneman and is a member of the Stoneman Family. She is best known for Bluegrass, "Old Time" Country and Mountain music. Patsy's brother, Van Stoneman, can also be heard in the show as the voice of Liver Lips.
