The size chart left more questions than answers (is it women's sizing or men's??). I had to look up the vendor's website to get my answers. I ended up buying the s/m and they fit me perfectly (I'm a women's 8.5 in shoes). As a general rule, I hate these types of socks - I don't know the specifics of how they're made, but the design is applied so that it looks terrible with ANY amount of stretch (see 2nd picture for reference). I love the look of these, so went ahead and got them anyway, but they're way overpriced for the lousy quality. If I could return them, I would.
